Smoke n' Lines
Smoke n' Lines is the first in a series of projects using methods of “analogical thinking” as a method of extracting elements of geographic locations and old family photos. The idea is to create textiles with the intention of using those textiles to reupholster furniture or create tensile structures with the intention of public use. The idea would be to be able to push both the textile design and the applications of the structures (public installations, infrastructure or furniture) at the same time. The hope would be to use this method of analogical thinking in order to create patterns and prints, which hold a more conceptual and personal weight.
